2018年度より始まった子ども教育学科の海外研修プログラムを2019年度も実施しました。 訪問先はドイツのノルトライン・ヴェストファーレン州デュッセルドルフ市です。日程は9月4日～13日の10日間で，参加者は子ども教育学科の学生9名（2年生6名，4年生3名）と引率教員2名でした。 　研修先は現地の保育施設2園，小学校1年生から4年生までの児童が通う基礎小学校，日本人の子どものためのデュッセルドルフ日本人学校とライン幼稚園です。 　現地の子どもの通う保育・教育施設では，日本の保育施設や学校との環境の違い，教育方法の違いに気づき，改めて日本の保育・教育について考え直す機会となりました。また，日本人学校や幼稚園では，海外で暮らす日本人の子どもの姿や家庭の状況を知ることができました。また海外で働く日本人の先生たちとの出会いは，将来このような進路選択もあることを知り，学生一人一人が自分の未来についても深く考えることができました。 　保育や授業を参観するだけでなく，実際に子どもと関わったり，日本の文化をつたえる授業をさせていただいたりして，教えることの難しさを感じつつも子どもと関わることの楽しさを実感したようです。 　また，デュッセルドルフ大学の日本語学科の学生さんと交流する機会もありました。全員でキャンパスを訪問し施設を案内してもらい，デュッセルドルフ市街も案内していただきました。ドイツ料理のレストランで一緒に食事をし，日本語と英語を交えた会話も弾みました。 　自由時間では市街散策のほか，世界遺産であるケルン大聖堂の訪問，美術館訪問，オペラ鑑賞など，各自が十分に海外の文化や芸術に触れる機会もありました。

For the 2nd year, the yearly study program of the department of Child Education was held from September 4th to the 13th, 2019 in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. During the program, 11 members (6 second-year students, 3 fourth-year students and 2 accompanying teachers) visited local childcare facilities, an elementary school, a Japanese school and a Japanese kindergarten. Students learned not only the differences of facilities and the methods in education between Germany and Japan but also to compare the Japanese child nursing and education system they are currently studying on a daily basis. This experience was an opportunity to understand the environment in which the families and children who live abroad. In addition, meeting and talking with Japanese teachers working there, was a chance to think of the future possible careers in the global society. Teaching Japanese culture and interacting with children made our students think of the challenges of teaching as well as experiencing the joy of spending time with them. Among other activities, our students had also an opportunity to visit the Japanese Language Department at the University of Düsseldorf as one more activity. We were invited to visit the campus and were shown the facilities after which we visited the city of Düsseldorf trying German food at a traditional restaurant. In their free time, students had opportunities to explore the city by visiting the World Heritage Cathedral of Cologne, museums, and some of them even enjoyed an opera.
