オンライン授業や学内のイベント制限で、留学生が交友の輪を広げる機会が少ないことや、日本人学生が本学で学ぶ留学生のことを知らないことから、 国際交流センターでは、留学生と本学学生が知り合う機会として、12/23（木）13:00－14:30にミニ交流会を行いました。研究補助で仕事をされている方（スリランカ出身、中国出身）2名と栄養学科の卒業生も加わり、ゲームや互いの紹介をしながら、楽しい時を過ごしました。ジェスチャーゲームでは、難しい出題もありましたが、正解すると、賞品と皆から賞賛の拍手が得られ、嬉しさも二倍です。健康栄養、薬、子ども教育、生物生産学科から9名の参加があり、学科や学年を越えて互いに知り合うことで、発見があったり、視野が広がったりしたことでしょう。今後も学内でもできることを模索しながら、交流の場を企画したいと思います。

Due to online classes and limited events on campus, international students do not have many opportunities to expand their circle of friends, and Japanese students do not know about international students studying at the University. A mini exchange event was held on Thursday 23 December from 13:00-14:30. Besides international students, two research assistants (from Sri Lanka and from China) and a graduate from the Department of Health and Nutrition joined us and we had a great time playing games and introducing each other. In challenging gesture games, everyone applauded when they got the correct answer, which was doubly pleasing when combined with prizes.There were nine participants from the Departments of Health and Nutrition, Pharmacy, Child Education and Appied Biological Sciences, and it was a great opportunity to get to know each other from different departments and grades, and to make discoveries and broaden our horizons. We will continue to look for ways in which we can do this on campus and organise other opportunities for exchange.
