We aim to train nurses, public health nurses, nursing teachers and physiotherapists who will be capable of taking part in the team medical care.
Structures of disease and disability are changing significantly in an aging-society with fewer births in Japan. Infectious diseases that have become a global challenge are also a regular occurrence. At times like this, what is required in the field of health care is that specialists work together with their quality expertise and skill – that is a team medical care in which every professional understands the expertise of others to support each other. The faculty aims to train high quality nurses, public health nurses, nursing teachers and physiotherapists who will be able to practice a team medical care and contribute to the extension of a healthy life and the development of medicine in the future.
